Cartoon Network Studios Commemorates its 25th Anniversary
The Annecy International Animation Film Festival will once again feature a star-studded lineup of animation from around the world, including Cartoon Network Studios, which is commemorating its 25th anniversary. The festival will take place in the picturesque town of Annecy, France, from June 3 to June 7, 2025.
- Cartoon Network Studios will be celebrating its 25th anniversary with a Visionary Creators Panel featuring some of its most influential animators, including Genndy Tartakovsky, Craig McCracken, Pendleton Ward, Rebecca Sugar, J.G. Quintel, and Adam Muto.
- Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network Studios will present a full programming slate, including a special event celebrating the history, future, and legacy of Cartoon Network Studios.
- The festival will also feature exclusive sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes looks at upcoming Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network Studios projects, including the upcoming series Bat-Fam and Get Jiro.
Annecy’s Official Trailer
The festival will feature the official trailer produced by Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe, directed by Grant Orchard, and executive produced by Ben Bocquelet. The trailer showcases the iconic characters of Warner Bros. and will be accompanied by a special presentation by Sam Register, President of Warner Bros. Animation, Cartoon Network Studios, and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe.
The trailer was created to celebrate the art of animation and to showcase the creativity and innovation of Warner Bros. Animation, Cartoon Network Studios, and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe.
Studio Spotlight
The festival will also feature a Studio Spotlight, where Warner Bros. Animation, Cartoon Network Studios, and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe will showcase their high-profile slate of current and upcoming film and series projects.

Adult Animation at Warner Bros. Discovery
The festival will also feature a special presentation by Adult Swim and Warner Bros. Animation, highlighting their strategy and efforts in the booming adult animation space.
- Michael Ouweleen, President of Adult Swim, and Peter Girardi, Executive Vice President of Alternative Programming, Warner Bros. Animation, will preview current and upcoming projects and share their team’s strategies to ensure Warner Bros. Discovery remains the destination for adult animation.
- The presentation will also include exclusive first looks at upcoming projects, including the upcoming series Bat-Fam and Get Jiro.
